After receiving his B.S. at Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Saunders earned his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He completed two post-doctoral fellowships at Harvard Medical School, focusing on functional genomics and human genetics. He currently is an associate professor at Drexel University and director of the RNAi Resource Center laboratory.

This project will test the hypothesis that microRNAs regulate protein levels of APP and Genome Wide Association Screen (GWAS)-identified levels of APP and GWAS-identified risk genes.
