Maggie Campbell

Last year, bookbinder and letterpress printer Maggie Campbell used her talents to create limited-edition handmade calendars to support Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. This year, Maggie has created another stunning collection, made using dried Queen Anne’s Lace from her home in Brooklyn, N.Y.

In 2012, Maggie’s mother-in-law, Nancy Drapeau, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease at age 59. That’s when Maggie’s idea for the calendars was born. Inspired by Nancy’s garden in Dubuque, Iowa, the calendars are hand-printed with cyanotype backgrounds and bound into an accordion-fold book designed for wall hanging. “This whole project is an attempt to give back in a way that is meaningful and lasting. It has been a labor of love.”

Ten dollars from the sale of each calendar will be donated to Cure Alzheimer’s Fund to support continued efforts to research, prevent and cure the disease.
